Funding - Lifelong learning and Youth
Leonardo, Lifelong Learning ProgrammeWith a grant from Leonardo, you can:
- Send learners and staff on work placements across Europe
- Send staff to meet potential partners in another European country
- Share best practice on VET with European partners
- Develop and transfer innovative VET methods
- Participate and lead networks
Priority theme and actions funded by the call: In the context of the economic crisis, Lifelong Learning funds can help people in your local community to improve their skills levels.
Type of project eligible for funding: Leonardo funds transnational projects - you will need at least one European partner, depending on which type of project you apply for.
Who can apply: Anyone (staff or learners) involved in vocational education and training is eligible to receive Leonardo funds.
Budget: This depends on the type of project. Budget available can vary from less than €1000 up to €400,000.
Community contribution: Again, this depends on the type of project. For example, for work placement abroad projects, a full grant is provided.

Deadlines:The deadline for planning visits is 11 December 2009, whereas the deadlines for all other types of Leonardo project fall throughout February 2010. Members can sign in for additional information
