DAPHNE III - Aragonese Women's Institute

The Aragonese Women's Institute (IAM) are interested in participating as partners in a DAPHNE III project led by another European organisation. DAPHNE III is a European Commission fund that aims to prevent and combat violence against children, young people and women.

The IAM is the agency responsible for gender equality policies, and initiatives preventing and tackling violence against women in the Aragon region of Spain. They are particularly interested in projects covering the following the themes:

- generating awareness about violence against women: causes, consequences, practices, development and link to other social issues;
- professionalisation of Care Services for women victims of violence;
- prevention of violence;
- treatment programmes
- the effect of violence against women on the children of the victim (especially on daughters).
